David Tolk has created a masterpiece of small ensemble New Age music. Every song, every note is rich with deep emotion and beauty. "Be Still My Soul" is one of the most heart-warming songs I've heard in the 15 years I've been listening to acoustical music. Not many CD's move me to tears, but the phenomenal care and love David poured into this album will always be cherished. This is a must for any New Age follower.

Heard David Tolk over Pandora and had to order this for my car. But beware driving with this as the music transports you to another place of calm and you can close your eyes. This CD can be left playing for hours and it's like brain balance. I fell asleep to it several nights and had wonderful dreams. Recommend for those seeking peaceful moments.

A collection of simple but transcendently beautiful melodies performed with heart. The most amazing thing about this collection is that a version of "Amazing Grace" is included and it is not the most beautiful song, just one of many beautiful songs. I have listened to this album about a hundred times over the past month, and have started hearing it even when it is not playing. Clearly I am getting more than my money's worth. Perhaps you will too.

I would not want to limit this album by calling it new age or easy listening. It is simply great music. I am shocked that this album has so few reviews. It is a true masterpiece. If David Tolk composed scores, he would quickly become a household name in the movie industry. I cannot speak for all of David Tolk's music, but as far as this album is concerned, you cannot go wrong. The melodies are original and timeless. I hope it is discovered by millions more so that it can get the recognition it deserves. Please make more like this David Tolk, you have a true gift...
