I much prefer Leviton jacks, and have both the cat5e and cat 6 tools for them, but a job with WAY too many Ortronics jacks came along, so I got this- my buddy, whom I was helping, was blown away by the performance of this tool. Highly recommended for any one who has to terminate more than the occasional jack. The ease of use, and the amount of time saved, more than compensates for the nominal cost of the tool.

I used this tool to terminate a data rack with over 400 cat6 cables on it. The blade for the brown pair decided to chip after only 50 terminations. It does work still but the time I saved with the quick termination is now wasted on checking the brown pair every time.

This particular blade set for the systimax MGS400 jack is poorly designed. It doesn't punch the pairs all the way down, resulting in open pairs. Maybe if the cleats were closer together it would work better.
