Only 4 star because it feels a little flimsy. MSA should have used 5 stantions instead of 3......but I keep picking up my hard hat by the visor and it doesn't break....
-perfect fit
-does the job
-allows you to see up (important if you don't want to bonk your head....but you're wearing a hard hat.........)

Plastic tabs that secure this shield to the brim are strong but obviously not indestructible, they will break if you are rough with them, I love everything else about this product, best on the market for v-gard hats

Did not fit MSA hat: MSA Safety Works 10006318 Full Brim Hard Hat, White.

Still, being crafty I may be able to make something out of it, gives me a pattern. It is two sides that are white and the front piece that is dark gray transparent. These three have little holes at the edges. There are three plastic clips that snap these three pieces together.

What I want is to keep the sun off me here in AZ, and the rain in summer, and allow the breeze to blow under keeping my head cool. I think this approach will be the ultimate hat for Arizona, once I have figured out how to have a larger brim.

It's a terrible product. You don't have to handle it rough to break it, just dropping it from your waist will do the trick. It feels flimsy because it is. My advise: DON"T BUY IT. Why would a company produce such a piece of junk for a HARD hat... oh yeah, to keep you coming back to buy another.

There's better ones out there. This is a thin flimsy piece of plastic. Didn't fit my hard hat so I modified it. Clips can easily break off. Doesn't give that much shade. Shipping was 2 days longer.
