What a hunk of junk!
Within 10 minutes of this keyboard being delivered by UPS, I had it back in its box, and ready to be returned. I didn't even bother to connect it to my PC. Why? Well, it's not built 'like a tank' as I read in the many reviews around the net (which lead to my decision to purchase this item). It's flimsy, and has lots of sharp metal edges to cut fingers and snag what ever might get close to it. The action of the keys is sloppy and noisy; even the space bar falls victim to the shoddy build quality-- it doesn't even depress unless you hit it in the middle. The media and special function keys wiggle and wobble as soon as you lay fingers on them. In the many reviews I read, the key action was likened to that of a laptop keyboard. In my short experience with this item, I can say it's not even as good as a laptop keyboard.
In short, this is a disgusting excuse for a premium keyboard. Don't believe all the hype about this keyboard being lovingly carved from a block of aluminum. It's made of wobbly cheap plastic, with an aluminum top plate, and steel mesh trim. The keys, buttons and frame are all plastic. If this unit cost 30 bucks, I'd probably be happy with it.
