I got the medium size and it is fine for my 11 lb. cat. She was using it within an hour of install. If I had known it was this easy, I would have gotten it months ago. I installed the lock at the bottom of the sliding door track and I needed help in drilling for that, but only because I am disabled. II recommend the door and advise getting one size up from what they suggest.

This pet door is extremely easy to install. I got it out of the box, and installed it in about 5 minutes, super easy. The pet door itself is magnetic, so it keeps out the wind quite well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it does not lock to your existing door well, but I've always just wedged a cutoff broomstick in between the sliding door and the wall anyway, for safety. I highly recommend this door panel. By the way, I got the "medium" size door, and I have a fox terrier mix that is about 17 pounds, and it fits her perfectly.

I lived in the country when I used this product, and being able to set the door to "only let inside, but don't let outside" let me control her being out only during the day when she was safer from coyotes and to other animals. Once she came inside to eat after I had clicked to this setting, she was locked in for the night. In the morning I would set it back to in-and-out.

The dial is tiny and may be a little hard for some hands, so I always checked to be sure the door was set correctly by swinging it back and forth.

This is just what I needed for my little dogs so they can come and go as they please. the only thing is that the door is a medium but is perfect for my small dogs (10 lbs). The small door would be for the size of cats not dogs.

This is a good product that installed easily in my 75" patio door. The flap is magnetized and it takes a good deal of time and patience to get older cats to use it. My kitten went right through first try. The seller was excellent and shipped the product prior to the date I expected it.

This door is a great buy! It had 2 features that I had a hard time finding on other doors, a higher threshold for the dogs to walk through and screws that tightened the springloaded top. I have 2, 95 pound, dogs and they love their new door! I highly recommend this door for the quality and price.

The cat door arrived quickly and the packaging was sufficient for shipping. It installs quickly. There is a gap between the cat door and the sliding screen door but they provide weather stripping to close most of that up. It's not completely sealed so if you are in a cold area, you'll have to look for some better weather stripping. This is a small door for small cats. I didn't want anything larger because I didn't want my 35 lb dog to be able to come through it and he can't.

The delivery was fast. The product was heavier than I thought it would be (a good thing). It took me less than 2 minutes to install. I popped it onto the same track as my screen patio door (which is behind my glass sliding door). The screen door aligns with the pet patio door perfectly AND I can now close my glass sliding door all the way (for the winters). Therefore, I don't need any weather stripping. The medium size fits my 15lb cat perfectly and he's fat! :) Now I just have to teach him to not be intimidated by it. No more having to get up every 10 minutes to let him in and out! AWESOME!
