My son uses this during snow boarding, and it has one of the best fits and support ever!
comfortable and fits under gloves, this is a must for snowboarding to avoid wrist fractures.
They fit well, although the material against your wrist is not soft, so you won't want to wear them with short sleeves.

As a few others have stated, these run really small. My hands are perfectly average, and my fingers barely fit between the finger separators and are extremely uncomfortable. I'll be sending them back and will not wear for an extended period of time, as I'm sure the finger separators would cut off circulation. I purchased a large (L) and usually wear a medium/large glove (I'm right in between).

I'm attaching two pictures. One is of my hand placed next to a standard business card and pair of sunglasses. The other is with my hand in the glove. It might be tough to tell my the picture, but both my pinky and index fingers are rather pinched at the base.

I ordered a S/M pair of these for my children to have as a backup to the Level Butterfly Mittens we have. They fit well, although the material against your wrist is not soft, so you won't want to wear them with short sleeves. I'd say for kids these are excellent snowboarding wrist guards in s/m. Much better than the plastic palm style ones people use rollerblading.

I wear large gloves, and could almost wear the s/m, but would definitely get the larger size for comfort if these were for me.

Protection wise these seem quite good. They are not quite equivalent to the Flexmeter two sided set that I wear under insulated ice climbing mittens, but I think these are probably 90% of the protection, 70% of the comfort, and less than 1/3 the price.

My advice would be to wear :
A long sleeve top
then
put a glove liner on and pull it over your sleeve
then put on the wrist guards, (without making the velcro wrist strap tight, just barely tight should work) and wear mittens that are 2 sizes too big over everything. Lined overmittens are wonderful for this.

This will let you or your kids pull off the mittens to work the bindings while your hands will still stay pretty warm from the gloves liners. I've done that for almost 20 years now when it's really cold.

I think my Flexmeter guards are nicer, but these are fine and a bargain for the protection they offer! If you want simple and don't care about the price, you can also go with Level Butterfly mittens or gloves, and if you really want the best, you can splurge on Flexmeters. So no, they're not Flexmeters, but I think these are fantastic for the price.

Just received these. I ordered the S/M, which should fit me according to the size chart. I wear a woman's large glove, or a men's small. The wrist guard part fit great, and felt like it would give a lot of protection, but there are finger holes for your fingers that are sort of a stretchy elastic. The hole for the index finger was much to small for my finger, and it started to turn it purple after just a minute trying them on.

If you are an adult, i would recommend getting the L/XL. Even if you are a S/M according to the size chart.
I am debating if I will try the larger size in these, or get the ones that go over the outside of the gloves.

I bit challenging to get into my gloves....but they are quality protection. Once they are in the glove I forgot I had them on. Suggest buying large gloves or large mittens so they are easier to get over these.

Great product! Fits well under my gloves and comfortable!!! I have another pair that are slightly bulkier and make it difficult to take gloves off, but not these! I have everyone in my family wear them...no one wants a broken wrist from playing too hard on the slopes :)

They barely fit under my gloves but they worked, they were just really tight and uncomfortable and gave me blisters/bruses I'm hoping maybe they will break in a bit more but I may just buy new ones.
I'm also not sure about the padding on the back, it seems a little dangerous as it's hard for your wrist to move back at all (I was a little scared I'd break my fingers) but I was not scared of breaking my wrists at least.
I would definitely not buy these again, but maybe your hand is the exact shape they were designed for..?

They're not very comfortable at all. They really dug into the bottoms of my forearm (where your tendons are). They got especially more uncomfortable when I put gloves on.

They don't appear that resilient when you first put them on. (The only thing that holds pads together is the large elastic shown in the picture) Once you put gloves over them they got a lot more stiff; however, I still don't believe they would really prevent a serious injury but they may help a beginner prevent some sore wrists. I don't believe they would prevent anything like a sprain or break. I definitely wouldn't bet my wrists on them.

I would recommend to anyone who's going to skiing or snowboard for the first time who is not going to spend a lot of time at the top of the mountain where its really cold. These would be best be worn with spring gloves because they add so much padding.

one of the best I've seen, and price was right!
My son uses this during snow boarding, and it has one of the best fits and support ever! Better than the Dr's brace!
