I am the one who posted the 4 pictures on the product images because the one they have is an old package and it's super low-resolution it bothered me. I have 2 guinea pigs, teddy and texel (long soft curly hair breed for those who don't know). The effect of these on my texel piggie is like if you take a cotton ball and you rub it on sand, eventually some of the sand will find its way to stuck itself in the cotton ball and refuse to come off. It really doesn't bother him yet since they are really light and he can just shake them off from the top (not so much from the bottom). Every time I pick him up I have to sit by the cage and spend about 5 minutes cleaning off all the bedding that stuck to his bottom). Thanks god they say super dry.
YES there's a notice on the bag that say this product might cling to long-hair breed. BUT I DIDN'T KNOW IT SAID THAT until I finally bought it, that's why i decided to uploaded my own pictures to help new buyers out. I even look at Kaytee product info on their size and there was nothing there, just the same low pixel picture that amazon has.
YES the stuff is supper absorbent and stay dry to the touch, easy to clean out everyday, you can just spot clean with a small scoop. There's no need to change the whole cage out (maybe you should every month or so still but every time you clean is not necessary).
YES the odor control is great, the product have a paperish/woody smell but it's not strong at all, unless you sit right next to the cage you won't be able to smell it.
YES I would recommended this product for other guinea pig owners as long as they have short hair breed.Read more ›

I'm sure this bedding would be nice for some people, but not me. I was very hesitant after reading the reviews, but I decided to give this a chance anyway. Immediately my lionhead rabbit started eating it!! Of course I freaked out because I didn't know if it was edible or not. I left it in for a good 8hrs and I was surprised when my bunny laid down. It was all over her fur, stuck in her butt, and all over her face. I just couldn't deal.
I would NOT recommend this for any long haired animals. Unless you have the time and patience to comb it out. I, also, was worried about it getting in her eyes. (if you can't tell this is my first bunny). I couldn't go to bed without removing the bedding and now I can sleep easy. The smell is awesome, but not worth it, in my opinion.
