This battery lasts a long time which is very good if you need a battery that lasts a long time. It is not made with the usual nickel-cadmium. It is made with lithium which is much better. Lithium is a versatile element. My uncle used to take it for manic-depression and it seemed to make him better. He's dead now.

The Amazon product offering was for a 5-pack of 9 volt smoke alarm batteries. I received 4 individual batteries. I contacted the supplier, BuilderDepot, and they promptly refunded the amount for the single missing battery.

The batteries work fine, thus the 5-star rating. (It remains to be seen if they actually last ten years in my smoke alarms.)

I don't really have a complaint. Although I only paid for the four batteries that I received, and the batteries work just fine, I ordered 5 and only received 4. I was able to purchase the fifth one locally (at the regular price) and I hope that I am done with those pesky "chirping" smoke alarms for several years.
