Good product, but look around online for forums talking about grinding gear noise after install... I thought I had really messed something up, but turns out this flywheel just doesn't dampen out the noise... Fine tuning my tire pressures helped a great deal, but still a little loud...

I installed this and the Exedy OEM replacement clutch in my 02 wrx wagon. While getting the parts installed was quite the process, I am very happy with how they have performed. The flywheel is heavy enough to avoid throwing a code but also light enough that clutch engagement will be notably different. I haven't seen any chatter on engagement or deceleration. All in all this pairing is a step up from the stock setup and a great fit for my modified WRX.

Nice craftsmanship, the fly wheel comes in plastic wrap covered with oil to prevent corrosion.

Washed down with brake parts cleaner and installed in few minutes (don't forget the red loctite).

Engine rev's faster, its not an F1 race car difference :) but it is noticeable immediately over stock.

Just installed this with the matching Exedy stage 1 clutch kit in my son's 2003 WRX. The prior 2 clutches I used the ACT flywheel because it was a bit heavier and I was worried and the RPM's and inertia stuff. Well, this is just fine and there are no issues with the RPMs dropping too quickly or anything. Seems to be a solid replacement.

Bought this to replace the clutch and flywheel set up on my son's 2003 WRX. I was pretty worried that it would be to light and cause the engine RPM's to drop too quickly when depressing the clutch or going into neutral but, it is actually hardly different from the stock one. I would def recommend buying this, I bought it with the stock style clutch kit and the set up is very good in the somewhat upgraded WRX. No chatter or slippage.
