Having purchased these quilts for years, increasingly, in the last five (or more) years, there is never enough embroidery thread included to complete the kit. It is frequently not easy to match the thread (by purchasing additional thread at craft stores) on a project where the embroidery has already been started. Bucilla was once the standard of excellence. Unfortunately it has lost its quality.

This is a great quilt for a beginner - the x's are large and the pattern is adorable....however..........I have done several of these as winter project and there is always plenty of thread included in the kits. with this kit, I have already run out of two colors - I sorted the threads beforehand and counted to make sure which color was which and there just simply wan't enough of the rose or one of the yellows included to do this project. I was able to match the colrs using my own thread, but it's just stupid that they don't include enough. They include a ton of dark green thread and you only need1-2 strands. There is also a discrepance between the photo of the blanket and the instructions. The photo clearly shows teal for one of the flower stems and the instructions show bright green. I am going with the photo, if there is enough teal thread to do it. Overall, very cute, but frustrating - I am pretty sure that I will run out of at least one more color before this is completed.

I love this blanket and I have done this same one twice so just be aware that you will run out of floss but bucilla has great customer service and they will send you more free of charge. The pattern is great and the colors are beautiful but I cannot give it 5 stars since it clearly doesnt come with enough floss.
