Great masks hold up. This is the 3rd year I have bought the Cashel full face mask. My horses like it better as it keeps fly of their mouth and nose area also. I got the ones with ears but occasionally a fly would get in and get trapped in ear area and drive horses berserk, also one of them had knots in her ears that stayed in there because the ear cover prevented them from flying out and it created sores inside her ears. I gave up the ears covered masks and just use the full face with no ears. A word of FYI, the horses nose moistenes the nose areas and they collect dirt. When it gets thick enough you can get it off mostly. I throw these in the washer and then let them dry naturally and they come out beautifully.

This was the 4th fly/sun mask I tried for our basically solid white paint. He kept getting sunburned because no matter what mask he had it did not last till noon. This one secures nicely and he actually stands there each morning for me to put it on. It hasn't come off and the area around his eye does not appear to rub or bother him. Since he's had it on, he has not gotten burned. I take it off each evening, but he has kept it on overnight and didn't seem bothered or unable to see at night. The area around the nostrils gets a little dirty but it's very easy to wash off. I'm so glad I found this. I would highly recommend this mask.

This was good quality materiel and construction, but VERY LARGE. I selected the Warm Blood size, so it may be true to size for large "draft" horses. Unfortunately it was so large I couldn't use it. TIP: Paint the top edge of the mask with a bright, florescent paint, so if it does get removed in the pasture, you can find it easier.

This fly mask is very well made and provides perfect sun protection to my horses pink skinned nose. I had to apply sun screen to her nose daily, now this mask takes care of that job for me. It was a little expensive, but well worth the money as it's very sturdy and a quality product.

I have a bug sensitive AQHA buckskin gelding who developed an annoying head tossing over worry about the possibility a fly might land on his nose. This mask has made him so comfortable and very happy Cashel makes these for horses like him. I purchased the "horse" size for my horse and fits him perfect. Extremely well made and worth the price. The cheaper ones mash down on their eyes and feel scratchy. This mask is a soft feeling mesh that is durable, does not collapse, and comfortable. The pleating in this mask keeps the mask off the horses eyes. I use the forelock opening to latch my Weatherbeeta fly sheet neck protector to.

My favorite fly mask hands down for horses that sunburn on their noses. Only complaint is that the nose piece is VERY long. I use these on four horses of all face shapes... long, short, wide, narrow,... all QH and Thoroughbred types. The nose is too long on all of them. But I can't find anything better anywhere, and these stay on. So 5 stars, but it would be awesome if they made a shorter nose option.. by like an good inch or two.

Beautiful fly mask w/nose cover BUT 'horse' size is misleading - should say 'large horse' instead. Fortunately, it fits one of our horses with a large head but not the regular-size horse that needs the nose cover. We're ordering the 'arab' size for our regular size horse because it is well made and fits right. Would have been 5 stars but for the sizing error.

Excellent product but for Shetland ponies the size falls in-between. Mini needs extender strap and pony is too roomy. Mini is also a bit short in the nose. I wish Cashel would make a size for Shetlands and B-Minis because it is one of the best masks out there.
