Each dumbbell offers five different weights--ranging from 2.5 pounds to 12.5 pounds--with a maximum of 25 pounds of total resistance. To change the weight, simply move the knob to the corresponding number and you're set. Once you've found a spot for the Speed Pac weights, you'll have all the resistance you need in a single space-efficient location. The weights are notably compact at just less than 5 inches tall, with a specially designed storage tray that measures a mere 7.5 by 13.5 inches and fits conveniently on a bookshelf or table. About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. The Reebok SpeedPak works just as advertised. The lightest weight on each dumbbell is 2.5 lb; it then increases by 2.5 lb increments until you get to 12.5 lb on each dumbbell. They are easy to change out and seem durable enough for my use. I sometimes wish I had levels between (1-2 lb increments) - but these work great for what they are. I recommend them if you are looking for quick change weights in 2.5 lb increments.

This product is very dangerous. Mine broke off while I was using it and destroyed my wooden floor. It could have been worse. It could have hit someone. The plastic which connects the weights to the strut is unable to sustain the torque associated with lifting it in a normal curling motion -- which is indeed how dumbbells are supposed to be used. Buy it at your own risk, the risk of your furniture and household fixtures, and the risk of your loved ones. Be very careful with this product. I returned mine and bought something else.

i thought i was getting a 25# (each) pair. not that the two would equal 25#. the product works well, a little weird to get back into the holder but once its in, its easy to adjust the weight.
