rear plastic flexible patch runs webbing through 3 holes requiring only 2 buckles to adjust. Web is elastic but relatively strong. Easy on / off.

other brands had weaker elastic and used 4 holes that requires 4 buckles. This makes it harder to get on and off and adjust: eagle optics; alpen; allen and bone butler creek.

Op/Tech used to make a good harness with 3 holes and non elastic webbing. The current model uses a 6 in extension from the harness to the binocs which ruins adjustability for short people and adds clunky plastic fittings.

Tip: use 4 inch small thin plastic 18# rated cable ties from Ace hardware to make a loop just large enough to clip the harness buckle to the binocs. Cut off the extra length. Tie the rainguard to the left loop. Then carry the binocs covered flipping the rainguard off one handed to use.

I like it a lot better than the strap that comes with most binocs. It hugs your chest and keeps the binocs secure and not bouncing around.
