We were looking for a shower trim kit to go with a 1920s style "transitional" bathroom (white hexagonal tile floor, subway tile on the walls, somewhat updated traditional sink and other fixtures). Style is a nice match. Components have a nice feel when used. It wasn't clear from the description if the shower head was a "low force" rain shower head or more traditional -- turns out the water pressure from the shower head is really nice, wide but still strong. The temperature control feature that separates temperature from water flow is really nice.

We had a very difficult time finding anything like this at Lowes or Home Depot and we were unsure as to whether this would suit our needs. But when combined with the Delta Faucet R10000-UNBX MultiChoice(R) Universal Tub and Shower Valve we now have independent pressure and temperature controls. Just set the temperature and it stays perfect forever! These are all metal parts that look very good and will surely last a long time. Even the shower head turned out to be a bonus because it really works! Great coverage with plenty of water flow, without needing to "hack" it and remove the water throttling mechanism. We put two of these in our new garden shower and now my wife and I can each set the temperature to our preference and there is plenty of water pressure for each of us. Highly recommend this!

This shower trim kit is great. The showerhead is perfect... a nice mix of a rain shower feeling but with really good pressure. It's also really nice to be able to adjust the temperature without having to also adjust the pressure. Be aware that the kit does not include the shower valve and it needs to be purchased separately.

One of the previous reviews says "all metal parts", which is one of the reasons I settled on this one... but that is not true. The temperature handle (short handle which is also covers the front of the unit) is all plastic. Hope it holds up well.

with this shower head. It feels solid. I love the fact that it has two handles. The small handle is for the water temperature. The large handle turns it on and off (pressure). Meaning you get the water the temperature you like and that handle stays in place unless you adjust it. Awesome!!

Great product. Some complain about the plastic piece that controls the temperature. Not sure how else delta would have been able to design this as see less without doing so. This is definitely one of the nicer trim pieces I have installed! Nice polished look with ugly temperature markings or logos. Very refined.

Note: I have the H2O showerhead but the same valve trim and cartridge. I am posting this here in order to give some information to those considering purchase.

I thought this valve trim and cartridge combo had separate flow and temperature control. Not so. You have to have the flow control valve fully open in order to get your hot water at the setting you want. If you try to decrease the flow the water gets colder. Seems like it works like any other single handle valve. I called Delta customer service and they said that was how it is supposed to operate as a safety feature. I mentioned it made it more dangerous since I would have to increase the temperature at anything other than full flow and if I then increased flow I would get much hotter water. So, you do have a separate temperature control handle but lowering flow also decreases water temperature.

Not the best shower head ever, but good enough for our purpose. After a bathroom remodel, we have yet to purchase the shower glass, a bit pricey for us riight now. But we were anxious to shower above ground, as apposed to the basement shower. The spray is such that most of the water stays in the shower with us, without flooding the rest of the bathroom, but does the job.
