I was afraid to get rid of my old shower head - I don't like water dribbling on my head - I have long hair, and it takes a lot of water to get my hair clean - this is wonderful and it's beautiful as well. I was very happy to know it came with the spout out of the wall - some of them don't.

I used this to update a 90's style brass fixture. Easy to install . Instructions good. Be sure that all the screws on the internal valve are tight before installing trim or you will get leaks into the wall.

This was used to replace our old Price Pfister Brass Shower with the acrylic or plastic handle. I called Price Pfister first to ensure this trim kit would fit and boy was it easy to remove the old one and add this one. Just be careful when screwing the shower head into the wall as it will scratch if you do not protect it while installing. The valve was a piece of cake. Love the shower head as well, nothing fancy but nice flow.

This trim kit was ordered after I decided to replace the cartridge in the original, 25 year old, Price Pfister single handle shower control.
Price Pfister supplied a new replacement cartridge (974-042) under their lifetime warranty agreement, which now required a replacement mounting plate (960-460) to fit the new cartridge to the original valve body.

This is where it becomes advisable to contact PF with any questions and review their FAQs on their website.

I do not agree with comments regarding incomplete kits and not including the valve. The description clearly states this is a trim kit only.

As soon as all the necessary parts were available the actual installation took less than 30 minutes to complete.

I was pleasantly surprised, given the size of the showerhead itself; the water pressure is quite invigorating.

Ease of installation. Total cost and Shower experience. Five stars.
