It's a heavy tire but rolls quite fast on hard pavement. VERY poor choice for anything loose. gravel, dirt, etc. Performs very well under total bike/equipment/rider weight of about 270 pounds. No worries about pinch flats whatsoever.

Bought this for touring, on the rear wheel. Have a lot of weight over the rear wheel, and transfer a lot of power through that wheel. Rear tire wears about 3-4 times faster than front and it's a pain in the butt to fix flats (disc brakes plus panniers). This tire looks like a very good choice but running lighter tire in front.

The company states specifically how long it will be before they ship and the product arrives. Make sure you are not in a hurry. Otherwise, great product and phone support. I'd shop with them again.

ordered this after comparing price wise to continentals, (Town and countries on my girl friend's bike have lasted a loooong time)
These hold the road well,roll easily, channel water in the rain and seem like they will last a good bit, though I doubt they will have the conti's longevity.
great tire for the money.

Edit: After several hundred miles commuting (mostly) in the rain, I like these tires even more. Great wet road holding and no flats yet even through some debris on the side of the road.
