As a janitorial engineer for the last 30 years, I think I have a good feel for how a product works. In this case, the wet mop is a true delight. Not only is the handle sturdy and stout, but the natural cotton mop head is super absorbent and falls naturally over the bang. A truly versatile tool, the mop handle can be used to poke and prod without fear of breakage.

I love this mop. It dosn't take me all day to get a clean floor with this mop. That is because it is a professional mop. You can even eat off of the floor after cleaning with this mop. I stepped out of my house slippers and walked over the floor in my bare feet and the floor felt great. I will never buy another mop from my hardware or grocery store again unless it is a professional one. The only draw back is that it has a very long handle but that is minor, to me, because it does a wonderful job otherwise.

This is a great mop except for a couple of things:

1. It was too large to fit through the wringers of the Behren's galvanized steel pail I bought to use it with. You can dunk the mop in the pail fine, but when pulling it through the wringers the sides of the mop stay soaking wet. Wish the mop head were a bit narrower.

2. Even with most of the water wrung out, this mop is heavy.

3. A smaller size mop head would make more sense for home use. This one is more like something you'd use to mop a huge open room.

4. The handle is very long. Kept banging it into the ceiling and walls.

Despite these things, this is a QUALITY product. Well made, the mop head removes for washing, and it will last forever.

This mop is a little bit bigger than what I've used in the past, but that's a good thing because it helps cover more area quicker. It will definitely suit your mopping needs, but the item I got had a slightly bent stick and some chipping on the wood. Also, I noticed that the metal part that holds the mop head can sometimes come in contact with the floor if it's angled a certain way. Not a big deal for me because I was using it on my basement floor, but you'll want to be careful if using this on something like hardwood.

I love this mop. However, it is a large commercial mop that is very big and heavy compared to an household mop. Be aware. Also, the metal hop head attachment is good for heavy duty commercial applications but it can sometimes "skid" or "nick" the floor. So if you have wood floors or tile floors that can scratch easily I would not recommend.

I'm not a janitor but I like to keep in shape. We have 3000SQ feet of Tile and a 3 year old that makes messes on a daily basis. My wife likes this electric thing which does very well but takes a long time. This mob works as fast as you do and swabs floors like a pro. My wife's more than a foot smaller than me and can't handle this mop. For me it's perfect. I feel like I'm swabbing the deck of a mighty ship. The floor looks like a mirror. This mop will not only give you a work out but turns mopping into a macho thing. I mean that half-joking, but it's a great mop, I really like it and my wife likes the fact that her husband is now happily mopping the floors. I would recommend getting a good bucket system to wring the water.

I say it's perfect if you know how to mop because it's made to be "heavy" duty which means it weighs something when full of water and ready for wringing. With that said, I'm tall and I love that I can make wide sweeps with this mop and clean my entire floor so quickly. I rinse it thoroughly and wring it out for drying. Haven't been bold enough to throw it in the wash yet due to other reviews. Works great! I do worry that I'm going to scratch the floor at the metal corners (maybe I'm putting it on wrong), but I haven't yet and happily surprised.
