I have an inflatable avon 16 ft watercraft. This light is the perfect solution for my night-running adventures. I like this light. It is sturdy, plenty bright for the job, and I like the mounting system... a little tricky to put on in the dark, but basically foolproof in it's simplicity. The light is thickly rubber-armored, and surprisingly heavy for its size. I also purchased the stern light from the same maker. Highly recommended.

very nice product, go fishn early in the am, need lights to be legal, bought this one and the stern light, both very bright and sturdy. i'm shore they will hold upfor a long time. very pleased with both products. i did remove the hitch pins and drilled a bigger hole, and use a nut and bolt, it seems easier than trying to put the pin in ,(in the dark). plus the pins seem to flex out and get loose. other than that, they are a really nice pair of lights., Hartley

I have 4 similar lights. 2 white lights and 2 nav lights to use with kayaks. I had one leak which manufacturer replaced. I keep the lights sealed well. Since they are LED they last quite a while. I purchased the metric screws which thread into these and left leave that on the kayak to attach to.

This is a light for an inflatable boat, so it needs to ne glued onto the boat in order to stay. But they don't include any glue with this. I had to dig out some from an old inflatable tube patch kit. Kinda silly not to include glue. Also, the pin isnt tight enough to stay in the flashlight hole when you store this, and you dont want to store the sharp pin in the base that is glued to a delicate inflatable boat. They should have thought of that. Lastly, the stem that attaches the flashlight ot the base is no located at the center of gravity for the flashlight, so it dips down forward slightly. Not a big deal, but they should have thought of that too. If youre' mounting this on a curved boat, try mounting slightly on the downslope and maybe it'll stay even instead of dipping down a bit. But otherwise, it works great so far. Havent taken it out to the water, s I don't know how waterproof it is, but it seems solid.
