Have been using this binder for about 3 months for my student teaching. I have to have a lot of information and categories contained in this puppy and it does a great job. I love the clear pockets in the front and back and the inside pockets are nice and sturdy. This binder gets carried to and from my student teaching every day and tossed into my car. It's held up great and I'm thankful for a binder that can fit all my millions of required papers.

It's a three ring binder of good quality. I purchased it for the color really. It's a very nice shade of blue and it has two pockets on each cover. It seems to have no flaws and functions appropriately. What else can I say?

This item is not as pictured. Instead of the round rings like in the picture, it has a D-shaped ring system. Instead of tabs on each side of the rings, there is just one tab at the bottom to open and close rings. It is the exact same system that is on the notebook I was replacing (same patent #). The notebook delivered had some wear and tear that may have occurred during shipping, because it was not protected at all inside the box. Also, there was no label in the sleeve in the front or spine of the notebook (as pictured) so the brand and type was not readily apparent. It does have "Avery" stamped on the inside pocket but as far as construction, it is indistinguishable from the notebook I was replacing, which is Staples brand. There was a label on the back that was covered by another label (amazon label i think). The original label says Avery and I searched the barcode and it is an Avery heavy duty notebook with "one-touch slant rings." I put papers in it anyway because I need it right now, and they were getting hung on the ring system immediately, because it does not latch together tightly enough - the exact reason I was replacing my previous notebook. I am very disappointed in this purchase, especially considering it was sold by Amazon directly and not a third party.

I purchased this Avery binder after having gone the "cheapskate" route and suffered months of fighting a crappy three ring binder that refused to let me turn pages, and would pop open if I put up a fight. NEVER AGAIN... I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON!!! Please, just spend the extra dollar or two and get a genuine Avery binder! Added bonus, this binder has extra pocket sleeves on front/back covers which are great for organizing quick access flyers or data sheets. Very sturdy, thick plastic cover, excellent locking rings.... will buy again when in the market!

So far so good... I bought two of these heavy duty binders for my son who is in middle school. He was complaining about his previous binder falling apart so I figured why not get him a heavy duty nonstick binder. He really likes the interior pockets that can be used for handouts and homework assignments. The best thing about these binders was the price. I went to a local office supply chain store and they wanted double the price. This was a great deal.
