I wonder if purchasing metallic markers from Michaels would have worked just as well or better. Bought these to write on wine bottles, but they weren't that great. They smeared and the ink didn't seem dark enough.

I bought a lot of these pens right before the holidays and they were absolutely the best-received of all my random gifts. You know those odd moments when you need a gift? Hostess gifts, co-worker gifts, in-law gifts. People for whom you don't really know what to give, but you still need to come up with something decent? Well, these pens did the trick. I tied them on bottles of wine or sparkling apple juice or just gave them on their own. And you know what? Everyone asked me where they could get more. That's a winner in my book.

I bought 3 packs at Bev Mo and the ink was dried up in all three packs, I Then bought the "Le Margueur"from Amazon and this ink never comes off, works great,

These work well. We keep a lot of things in mason jars, so we wanted a way to label them without writing on the lid or using a lot of scotch tape. These work well for that. They're fairly easy to read and wash off with soap and water. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they tend to smudge, even after they've dried.
