Like the suction cup bottom

As a plant it is just so-so. My betta has not hurt itself on it and liked to rest on the leaves but what bumped me from 3 stars to 4 is the suction cup base. Even if the tank gets bumped or the rocks move that plant is staying put. And to clean it the plant pulls out of the base-but i still usually just pull the whole thing up.

Nice looking fish tank decor

This plastic plant is pretty small but works great for our Beta. Since it has a suction cup, I hung the plant on the side of the tank so that the leaves can serve as little places for our Beta to rest. It looks great in the tank with our other plants.

Great betta plant!

I actually suctioned this sideways at one end of my betta's tank and turned the leaves a certain way so that they look like little hammocks. She loves sitting on the leaves this way. I also have a betta leaf in the tank, but she prefers to lay on this plant.

My betta likes it

I have this near the top of the tank where the betta can rest on it when he want. He has figured it out and uses it as I had hoped. Clean it every so often as crud likes to grown and cling to it which dulls the color and appearance. Pretty common for plastic aquarium plants.

Stock up on replacements

My betta uses the leaves as little hammocks, and it's his favorite thing in his bowl. I just wish I had known to buy several instead of just one, because after a couple of months the suction cup went bad, and it won't stick onto the side of the bowl for more than an hour at a time any more.

Underwhelming to say the least.

I know this wasn't expensive. I only purchased it to push my order over $25.

I wasn't expecting much out of this plant due to the cost, but even with my lowered expectations it was a flop. It looks tacky, poorly made, it's extremely small, the suction cup would have trouble sticking to super glue, the plant floats when it becomes detached from the suction cup ( which happens often ) You are much much much better off going to petsmart/petco and purchasing something there that will probably end up being cheaper and look much nicer.

I gave it two stars instead of one out of pity.

i bought it originally for my other betta Larry as an alternative the Zoo Med hammock...i stuck it to the side of the tank. He slept in his tree next to it. Its kinda flimsy. Larry has since passed and my new betta, Fish Sticks, doesn't even go near it...he hangs in the feather trees next to it as well lol. Maybe it'll look better if it's used correctly, in the upright lol

My betta loves it

I have had this product for about a month and so far it has worked fine. You can't really expect much from a plastic plant, but my betta loves it. He likes to rest on the leaves and it has not caused any tears on him.
