After backing my passenger-side mirror into a concrete pylon at work, I thought I'd have to pay a bunch for a good quality replacement mirror. I mean, electronically adjustable power mirrors aren't cheap, right? Apparently I thought wrong.

This mirror came quickly (shipped directly by amazon), and was adaquately packed. Nothing was damaged, but I wouldn't say it was WELL packed. Just the usual plastic air-pocket packaging. The mirror itself came in a nice DEPO box, and was protected by a somewhat soft slipcover. After taking it out to examine it closer, it appeared to be flawless. The mirror didn't have the "funhouse" quality of other similar mirrors on Amazon (or at least, I've read they have that property), and the wiring harness seemed very sturdy and well made.

I was a bit disappointed that there were no instructions that came with the mirror, but you can find very thorough and complete instructions by googling for "How To Install Replace Broken Side Rear View Mirror Toyota Corolla". The first youtube video to come up, by 1A Auto, was the set of instructions I followed. The only deviation from those instructions that I found in my case was that the original mirror wiring harness was encased in some sort of waterproof electrical tape and plastic covering. After carefully removing the plastic covering, I had access to the harness. Other than that, following those instructions worked perfectly!

Now, I'm not sure if this is just because my drivers side mirror is from 2006, but the new replacement passenger mirror I purchased appears a tiny bit bluer or darker than my drivers side mirror. It isn't a very large difference.Read more ›

Wife knocked mirror off of passenger side of Toyota. This item was substantially cheaper than manufacturer. Fit perfect wire harness connected up without a hitch and controls work perfectly. Wife complained it didnt match color of car, I said wait until you knock other mirror off then they will match.

This product is great!! I purchased it for my 2003 Toyota Corolla shortly after I accidentally knocked my side mirror off while driving out of my driveway. It arrive within a week after I ordered it. It is as it looks in the picture and it functions the same as my old mirror, which it should if connected correctly. I wish the mirror came in other colors besides black (e.g. silver). That way it would match the overall color of my car, which if you haven't figured out by now, is silver. Overall, this product is amazing!

This drivers side mirror is still going strong after 10 months & 10k miles of heavy use, and nobody can tell the difference! It actually works better than the stock one.

To get the result in my photo, you should use 3 coats of Dupli-Color brand paint (check the inside of your Corolla door for exact color code/name, and 2 coats of Dupli-Color brand clear coat for protection. Very easy job, and I have never painted parts before!

This mirror is amazing. I damaged my mirror, on my 2008 Corolla, four years ago and never got it replaced because I thought it was going to cost me an arm and a leg, then I found out about this. Bought it and replaced it myself (with the help of a youtube video). It's been a week and you can't even tell that it was a replacement mirror.

I saw another reviewer say that she had a mechanic replace hers and it was shaky on the freeway, but I did not experience that at all, even at 75+ MPH. I think her mechanic just didn't screw it tight enough.

I love it and recommend this to anyone that owns a 2003-2008 Corolla. Worth every penny!

Installed myself with instructions from YOUTUBE, very helpful.
Mirror has no warp as other buyers mentioned, I did not have problem at all, love it.
Screws, weather strip they all line up prefect, just make sure you align the weather strip properly before installing.

What a savings.

I replaced my old one (that I smashed into bits when I hit my garage - oops). Anyway, i found youtube video about how to remove door panel on my 2005 toyota corrola and I did it myself. Amazing. It was pretty easu actually. Just need a few tools (and two paperclips to get handle off that rolls down window) and about an hour. And it is a nice black. I did not have to paint it.

I am surprised at how close this was to the Toyota OEM. Quality is superb, and it painted up VERY nicely.

Design is stupid, but that is a Toyota issue ... how a company can make a car as recent as the cars that used these mirrors and not have them rotate if they hit something is beyond me. Good thing it is my friend's Corolla and not mine...

I'd say that this mirror is at least as good as the OEM, since it is even quieter than the original when the electric motor moves. EASY to install, and looks great.
