This item is advertised as "by Sony" leading one to believe it is a Sony Replacment part. It isn't.Ifyou look in pic you can see that it lacks the moulded Sony Logo of the original. With that being said, the item does fit however you might have to wiggle it a bit. I noticed as well the white is off compared to the white on my PSP. This could be due to aging of my unit so I'm not knocking it for that. Overall fit is decent with just a minor amount of overhang in contoured area around shoulder buttons.
