While these plates look nice, they are very thin and do break easily. We used them over the weekend, and at least 3 of them snapped while I was washing them (they snapped in the hand that was holding them as I lightly washed them with a sponge). Another plate ended up with a hole in it after one of our guests used a knife to cut a piece of chicken on it. They're inexpensive for a reason, I guess.

I was intrigued by the 95% discount, and thought that these must be something really special--regular price about $27 a piece for a plastic plate and I could get them at the bargain price of about $1.20. Wow!! They arrived--crappy plastic plates that should be priced at about 5 cents a plate. I got scammed....

I thought the plates were not disposable due to reading the title only. It does say "disposable plastic" in the description, so it was my mistake. That said, the plates were very flimsy for the price.
