Excellent product. It has a cylinrical tip which is easy to subtract fron the edge. Most have odd round diameters that have .312 and the fowler has a .200 diameter that is easier to calculate. Just chuck it up, touch off while stationary and spinning, at edge all the leds light,raise up and move in .100 which is half the diameter and you centered over top of the edge of the material. Easier than clickers or offset edge finders and visibly easier to see. Well worth the money and time saved.

Extremely accurate. I am using it in a Bridgeport Mill and couldn't be happier. It seems to be holding up better than the 1/2" diameter Edge Finder I've used in the past. Repeatability is +/- .0002".

Good value.

Easy to locate any edge with this, as long as the edge you are locating conducts electricity.

So if you are prototyping something in a synthetic material, this won't work.

Basically this is relying on the 12v battery to flow current through your spindle, into your table/vice and close the circuit by traveling through your part and into the tip of the edge finder.

So far it appears to work very well and just as accurate as my other wobblers, only easier to see.

It's not the most polished product, but it works as advertised and is accurate.

This edge finder works. I tested it it fo repeatability and it beats my wiggler hands down. Done carefully it gets within 0.0005 easily. you just have to be slow with the cranks. I was never really sure with the wigglers.

I would have preferred the 1/2" shank and .2" ball, but this unit gives me repeatability of .0002". I have only used it on two projects, but it has been a solid performer. I would recommend this product to interested persons.

Works great both on a old fashioned Bridgeport and on newer CNC machines where the doors lock. I tested it against a Starrett spinning edge finder and found I could get within 2 ten thousandths.

Appears to be good quality - used a few times and I like the non-spin function. You still put it in your collet, but not having the part turning reduces the vibration and it appears to allow you to get closer to the edge as a result. Fits well into a .50 collet. LED's are bright, no mistaking when they contact metal. Good product.
