These are the most awesome tasting biscotti out there including ones with gluten. We get a shipment every other month and we could probably get them ever month and never have any left.

Crisp, buttery, sharp taste of anise followed by the mellow almond coming through.

NOTE: Each box contains 6 big cookies. One cookie is enough for a dessert however.

It tastes exactly like regular biscotti, only this has no wheat or gluten in it. The texture is exactly like the wheat-based biscotti-- perfect when dipped in coffee or tea, very hard and dry when not dipped. That's how they're supposed to be, and these are perfect. I like the chocolate and lemon ones too, but the almond anise is my favorite. I love them because they're a great snack with a cup of coffee or tea to tide me over to a meal, but they're more like toast in that I'm not tempted to pig out on a box of them like I would if I had cookies in the house!

These are a tasty, crisp biscotti, but if you are looking for a strong lemon taste, this isn't it. They are very crumby, so use a napkin or you will be wearing them. We eat the lemon-almond and the almond-anise flavors almost everyday with coffee. Be aware that they are low-sugar, which is a plus for me, but they may not be sweet enough for some people.

If there is a gluten issue in your family, and there most likely is since America's GMO wheat is outrageously high in gluten, this is a good substitute for a coffee dunking cookie. I buy theses by the case. The anise flavor is perfect, not too overpowering and not artificial tasting. We also carry these as a quick snack when on the run.
