I have several Anolon advanced pots & pans and they work really well - cooks food evenly and heats evenly, great non-stick for both cooking & clean up. I purchased the Anolon advanced Bronze 12 in covered ultimate pan and there were several stains that were really difficult to clean after 1st use. As suggested in the cleaning instructions, I tried baking powder as well as heating water & vinegar mixture to removed stains. While most of it came off, you can still see several hints of stains and it only got worse with the 2nd use. I am returning it and will stick with the Anolon advanced series. The Bronze series is cheaper but it's not quite non-stick.

I admit, I bought this pan simply because it was relatively inexpensive; what a pleasant surprise. I cannot yet speak to longevity, but I am really happy with this pan so far. First, it is VERY non-stick. I haven't really been able to get anything to stick to it. Surprisingly, the outside of the pan also seems nearly non-stick cleans up easily. Hot water and a plastic bristle brush will get anything off so far, I only use soap to make sure it hygienically clean. (It is interesting to note that my old Calphalon, even where the interior non-stick is still working, is very stained on the exterior and will not come clean at this point.) The pan is medium weight, this is important to note. Some types of cook tops really need a heavy weight pan, and this is not one. Be careful because there are many differnt pans with approximately the same name (this precise pan is the one I bought and am reviewing). I have a natural gas stove and medium weight has not been an issue for me(I also don't cook with high heat and so reduce the danger of warping the pan). The pan will brown/sear meat with no higher than medium high heat. The pan heats evenly without noticeable hot or cool spots. The lid fits tightly and the grip/handle (both on the lid and pan itself) is sturdy with a sure grip/feel. Handles are riveted, so no real fear of them coming loose. The depth of the pan and slope of the sides makes it easy to cook with the pan relatively full without slopping over the sides. I have not used the pan in the oven (and am not sure why I would), but on the stove top the handle has never been so hot that I needed a pan holder (bearing in mind that I am a guy with relatively high tolerance for temperature extremes, delicate hands may feel things differently, still a useful comment as a relative gage).Read more ›

3 words: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! ...I know, Analon is not the cheapest cookware out there, but I've tried cheap pan sets (T-Fal, etc.), and they are so inferior in so many ways. As a result, they get replaced quickly so end up being more expensive in the long run. After burning through those long ago, I tried Circulon.. NOPE! They were unique at first, and performed OK, but the circular design started sticking..were very hard to clean. (Circulon has changed a little since then but not enough to make me try it again.) Next, Calphalon. NOPE! It took a while, and when new, they performed well and looked very nice. After a few years, though, various (often-used) pieces warped and literally were sliding off my (gas) burners while cooking (scary), the non-stick wore off, got easily scratched, looked nasty, & both inside and outside became hard to clean up... ANALON is the most solid, even-cooking, and beautiful (bronze) cookware I've ever owned.. So easy to clean! It'll most likely be the LAST set I will ever need to buy. NONE of the others has the look, feel, or performance of these pans. It was the reviews of other users that sold me on Analon and I'm so glad I made the investment. I just wipe them up after cooking..both inside and outside- nothing sticks! About the price: you can find sets on sale at Amazon, dept. stores & outlet malls or buy single pieces to get you started ... I love that you can add pieces later, too. Plus there are utensils, bakeware, gadgets, etc to match... Well worth the investment!

I've had this pan for about... 4 or 5 months maybe? So far, it has performed like a champ. Food releases great, clean up is quick and easy, no problems with the lid or the finish, top or bottom. I use this daily for all saute and pan frying but I do take care of it -- no metal utensils and it does not see the dishwasher. It would be nice if it was oven safer to higher temperatures, but that's not really what the non-stick pans are about. I've got cast iron for pan roasting. I would recommend this pan without hesitation.

This is the most wonderful and amazing pan I have ever used! I stay at my Mom's part time to help her out and needed a pan to do most everything with, this is it. I have done stir fry, scrambled eggs with cheese and even made steel cut oatmeal in it - clean up was a breeze!!! I prepared both the oatmeal and the eggs with all the added stuff and then allowed the pan to sit with all the stuck on remains. When I put it in the sink with hot, soapy water it was as if the pan just wiped clean. I did not even use oil or a cooking spray (The directions say, "Do not use cooking spray") and still easy to clean. The pan heats evenly and does a great job with both a quick heat and go or a long slow item, like the oatmeal. I will recommend this pan to everyone I know and when I need to replace cookware, this is what I will get.
