These appliques do not have a solid white background, but a translucent, almost clear background, so the wall color shows through the picture. It's worst on the whites in the picture, which only appear white on the removable backing because the backing is white, but it also affects the lighter colors. These look okay on a light colored wall, but I'd avoid placing these on dark walls. (Note that the giant appliques do have a solid white background and look much better.) They did maintain their peel-and-stick properties during several moves, are easy to handle, and are made with a good quality (not flimsy) vinyl-like material.

We have a conference room at our office called the bat cave we wanted to decorate with a bunch of stickers. We ordered these thinking there would be a handful of tiny stickers. There were many more stickers than we thought (which meant taking more time away from work re-creating scenes from batman movies) so definitely a positive. They are high quality and were very easy to apply. I imagine if you are a real adult that has kids, this would be a fun thing to buy for their room. Just a thought.

These decals are awesome. Very easy to place and remove, very durable, and you get quite a lot of them in this pack. The decals themselves look really nice and quality.

My one complaint is the lack of variety. You get plenty of batman and the joker in various poses and lots of bat-symbols, but it would have been nice to see more villians included like the riddler or the penguin.

All in all I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I'm not ashamed to say that as a 25 year old man I put these all over my apartment's bathroom and they look great.

My nephew loved these. He realized how easy they were to move around so he puts them up and the next day he rearranges them and takes new pictures for me.
My sister loves them cause he can move them and it leaves no sticky or stain on the white walls of his room.

These are perfect for my son's room. They aren't overly huge, which I like. My son had a blast helping pick where on his walls to put each sticker. There are a TON of stickers included in this pack (we didn't even use them all because there was so many). Great designs and are very clearly seen on tan/cream walls. I love that they are reusable and can easily peel them off the walls (not permanent).

Easy to stick to the wall, and easily removable. Great and relatively inexpensive way to decorate a room, much better than painting. We have had them up for well over a year now and they are still sticking just fine, the edges aren't pulling away at all. We will definitely purchase more of this brand when it is time to redecorate!
