This is a great packet of the new DMC flosses. A lot of the newer patterns call for these colors. However, what I like best is the flexibility that they give me for altering older patterns. I like to add character (and characters) to patterns and the new colors give me more options.

DMC floss is very high quality. Colors add variety if you do a lot of freehand projects. But by using coupons you can get better,pricing at craft and fabric stores. However, I did,like the delivery to,the door.

This is a nice set of DMC embroidery floss. While it advertises itself as the newest 27 colors, it has actually been a number of years since this set was released and newer flosses have been added since. On the other hand, it is a great way to pick up some of the "newer" colors of DMC floss. It is getting harder and harder to find a nice selection of embroidery flosses locally and by buying them in a package, you are pretty well guaranteed that they will arrive in great shape.

I like the quality of DMC - it gives great coverage in projects and I try to keep at least one floss of each color at hand at all times. If you want to build you stash of cotton floss, this is a great set to buy.

Lovely colors, nice variety, and great to have multiple shades and hues of colors, for blending and shading.
However, mine was missing several of the colors listed on the package, instead doubling (2 skeins) a few other included colors.

I have been cross stitching for over 30 years, I was taught by my mother on this floss, and have used it all these years. I feel it's the best out there, and for blending over two, it is remarkable. It is strong, does not knot up, and makes the pics have a beautiful sheen. You won't be sorry!

This particular floss pack was a great and convenient addition to my DMC "library". I have at least 1/2 skein of every DMC color, including the variegated set. I keep these on hand so that I always have what I need to start any project. Even though I will usually need more floss than one skein to complete a project, at least I now have enough on hand to get started if a pattern in one of my books calls for a specific color. In my opinion, DMC is the best. I've been doing embroidery, crewel, and counted cross stitch for over 50 years and have used many different flosses. I have used primarily DMC, Coats, and Iris, although I have used Anchor, which is not readily available wherever I've lived. To those people who complain about the price of this set, then don't buy it. To me, the convenience is well worth the price, and I thought it was pretty reasonable anyway.
