Some write that it is too long, but it worked perfect. The belt that came is Hoover brand, and was the same outer diameter is my original Goodyear belt that I thought was stretched out. Closer examination revealed the new belt was thicker than the old, indicating the original belt didn't become stretched, it just wore thin.
