After I learned the truth behind major mass market female hygiene product producers, I will never ever buy non organic cotton tampons ever again. This is a real shame that an industry that produces products of such intimate and personal nature is at the same time one of the most obscure and sinister. I'm sorry to be so graphic but to me it is the same thing as taking a spoonful of pesticides and putting it in your mouth and keeping it there for a couple of hours. Would you do that? Probably not. You know it's not safe. Same here. Don't put anything that is bad for you inside your body. You might be doing ok now, but there is a chance that those mass market tampons are affecting your body and you don't even know it. The cotton they use is sprayed with the worst chemicals you can imagine. Treat yourself well, treat this planet well, buy organic products whenever you can. Quality-wise there is no difference. I love this brand and works excellent for me.

Haha so this is a personal product, but I started using it b/c I get KiLLER cramps, and I read that using organic cotton tampons can help that down the line. They are very absorbent, and I haven't had ANY problems with spotting/leaking- you just obviously have to change it every few hours.

Once you dig a little into what conventional tampons are made of, there's no turning back to the same old junk. I switched to Natracare organic tampons awhile ago and haven't looked back. If you haven't seen their video on their youtube page comparing how their tampons hold up in water to the conventional ones, check it out!
