I started with 2 ounces. It made me very sick to my stomach the day I first tried it. The next day well lets just say I was in the bathroom a lot and had a very bad stomach ache. I may try one ounce some time in the future but right now I'm not going to go through this again.

Great stuff! Keep it refrigerated and cut it with a little water in a small glass. I use it before breakfast and before bed to help with gerd symptoms. Shake bottle before pouring cause the good stuff is the pulp, but it's not gross. Really.

This drink is very good in taste and what it does for me. My stomach problems have gone away. Yes if you drink the 8 oz from the begining it does cause you to have bathroom problems. To avoid this start off with a oz. or 2 and increase every other day. This is new to your system and your system is not use to it put keep on truckin and it will go away. I have a friend whos husband had bleeding ulcers and she made him drink this and the ulcers went away after 6 months.

I purchased this for stomach problems and 4 ounces a day seems to make a big difference. I had tasted aloe vera years ago and it was not that good but this is easy to drink. It has a bite like it is fermented and I could drink a large glass no problem as the taste is good. I will update with the benefits.

I love the flavor of this aloe vera juice! I drink about an ounce every morning for digestion. I tend to get heartburn and this helps my stomach. Its also an anti inflammatory. The plain one has no flavor and is hard for me to drink. I find it t my local health food store for about $4.50 for this bottle. There are some vitamin stores that charge about 9.00 but i prefer the $4.50.

I thought it may have been a little to strong because of stomach upset (frequent bathroom visits) HOWEVER found out the problem was Priolosec prescribed by my dr. once I stopped that, no problem with the bathroom visits.
