This peanut butter is a favorite in our house. All 3 of us eat it every day pretty much. However, we made the mistake of buying a case of it online since it was cheaper. It could be the heat (we are in California) that ruined it on it's way here, I'm not sure, because it wasn't expired. However, it tasted very different than what we get at our local grocery store. Not nearly as good and kind of melty. This is the best peanut butter out there but take my advice and don't get it mail ordered.

After eating roasted honey nut peanuts for the last couple of years I decided to try the Skippy Peanut Butter, Roasted Honey Nut Creamy Peanut Butter. I like the roasted honey nut taste in either the creamy or super chunk style. The grand kids love it as well as grandma and grandpa.

This is the grossest peanut butter I've ever had the displeasure of having to eat. I wanted to buy another jar of honey roasted peanut butter after trying Walmart's brand. It was the perfect balance of honey and peanut butter, not too bland and not too sweet. But this Skippy brand is awful. It's the saltiest peanut butter I've had to date, including regular peanut butter (not honey roasted). I also bought a jar of regular Jif peanut butter and it doesn't taste half as salty as Skippy's. And the honey roasted flavor of Skippy's had no detectable honey flavor whatsoever. It was like eating a regular jar of super salty peanut butter. I don't want to finish the jar. What a waste of money.

Skippy is already great but the added honey makes it even better. I actually got goosebumps when I tasted it. It has the same amount of sugar as regular Skippy, 3 grams per serving. So I don't understand when reviewers say it's too sweet. When it's on sale at the local market I always stock up

I can't really compare it to other peanut butter to be honest because I don't eat that much peanut butter... I just grabbed this for a cookie recipe. These are pretty sweet on their own (honey + sugar... I guess its good to have some honey as a sweetener rather than just pure sugar!) so when I added the sugar the cookie recipe I asked for, it was EXTREMELY sweet. I think this is a good peanut butter to use for baking (or if you don't want to add anymore sweetener). The cookies I made were no bake peanut butter cookies and next time I'm not going to use any sugar in the recipe. That might make it a lil bit healthier than the other kind (because you don't need anymore sugar) it tastes pretty good on toast too.

I wasn't too sure how the kids would like the Honey Nut since they are used to the regular creamy but I got it for a clearance price and thought what the heck. Am I sure glad they liked it since there were six jars. I tasted it and I think it is just a bit sweeter than the regular kind. It was quite good in my opinion and will buy it again. If you don't think you would like the sweetness then I wouldn't buy it, but if sweet is for you then definitely go for it.
