I had to start eating more healthy and after years of eating poorly, it's just not easy to change. I had to learn to add more protein and fiber into my diet but watch the calories and fat. So bacon and sausage for protein at breakfast was totally off the table. Finding a GOOD tasting cereal that gave a significant amount of protein wasn't easy. Then add to that one with good fiber content too! And lets not forget the most important fact....I had to like it! Eating healthy is NOT easy! You need to do your research! I finally found Kashi Go Lean, Honey Almond after 6 months. At the store near me, they don't keep it in the cereal section so I just happened to see it off in the corner one day and gave it a look. I thought I was going to HATE it so it sat in the cabinet for a couple of weeks.....but was I surprised when I finally had some! It has the right amount of sweet and a one cup portion is so filling! I'm fulfilling my protein and fiber requirements and it doesn't even have to hurt! It also makes an awesome snack too....and its good for me!

I'm currently trying to get my grandchildren to eat more healthy too before its too late. (2 yr old and 4 yr old boys) This cereal is awesome mixed with some oatmeal and they love it. They also love snacking on it. I also see a big difference after taking them off those sugar charged breakfast cereals they used to eat.

Honestly, Kashi Go Lean saved my life. With it's help I've lost 80 pounds and am near my goal weight. It helps my sweet tooth and the fiber helps in ways we all know! Thank you Kashi!

If you've already tried this cereal and love it, excellent, go right ahead and buy the four boxes. I had no problem with the quality and freshness, but I don't think we'll be able to keep eating it.

My two kids and I started eating it a few weeks ago as a means to get more protein into our mostly-vegetarian diets. Two of us started getting horrible bloating and gas. Finally after cutting off a date early because of horrible intestinal pain that couldn't be relieved no matter how many trips I made to the restroom, it dawned on me that it might be the cereal. A Google search confirms my son and I aren't the only ones who react to it this way.

We already eat a fairly high-fiber diet, so I'm guessing one of their ingredients (likely the fiber from chicory root) just isn't settling with us well. And yet my little girl isn't bothered by it at all. I just don't know that she could get through all four boxes before they go bad.

I would give the cereal three stars, because it tastes fresh and yummy. It is very crunchy. It's a bit like that one corn snack that will break your teeth, so we've just let it soak in the milk for a few minutes while we finish getting ready for the day.

But my son and I really are hurting here. I hope to get this review in front of people who need the warning it really should carry. Thus I give it one star. Try one box first, and if it doesn't bother you, go for all four.

Don't get me wrong. The cereal has a nice taste and crunch but that's where the "goodness" ends. Go Lean Crunch is nothing but a fart producing product. Put it this way, I've busted more ass from Go Lean than all the baked beans Hormel or the Bush family could produce in a year! Don't get me wrong, go Lean Crunch is delicious, but prepare for major stomach cramps, diarrhea and intense air biscuit entertainment for about 18 hours after eating it! I mean one after the other; seconds apart! No thanks. The people at Kashi desperately need to put a warning label on their product. Amazon should seriously think about partnering a bottle of Charcoal Caps and a pair of clean underwear as a free gift to people who purchase this gastrointestinal nightmare on their site. You've been warned my friends.

I also find this cereal to be absolutely delicious!

For those that are too squeamish to get a true colonic, this is the slower, cheaper, more painful way of completely clearing out your digestive system. Go ahead and tell yourself that you eat PLENTY of fiber every day and have a double helping of this. But make sure you plan your day around a succession of clean, quiet, private toilets. Because, about 2-3 hours after consumption, the cramping will start. You think, after the second evacuation that it's all over, but no, NO! It's just the beginning of the worst gastric monstrosities of your life. You double over, thinking it's a fart, but not daring, never daring to trust it, off you run to the bathroom. And it is a symphonic, comically loud fart, followed by tear-inducing cramps and the expelling of another day's worth of fecal matter. You would think that after 6-7 hours, the agony would be over, there would be not more crap in your body, but dream on. If you've ever wondered what a tube of toothpaste feels when you are squeezing every last drop out of it - well, that is the power of Get Clean cereal.
