So every morning I have been stopping (quite faithfully I might add) by the coffee shop to buy an Italian soda. Well, since I am an enterprising woman I decided to make them myself. I liked the option of three bottles instead of just one large one; also, these come in plastic bottles. I was worried that they would be damaged in shipping, but these had plenty of bubble wrap and arrived safely.

The syrup is delicious and smooth in flavor. I love this brand because even though its not the most expensive, it has the truest flavor.

The Strawberry Syrup Is Quite Good And The Flavor Is Strong. We Use The Strawberry In The Frappachino's That We Make At Home. We Found It Does Not Work In The Cappuchino's. It Clabbors In The Hot Liquid.

I first tried the strawberry flavor when it was used to make an Italian Soda. I asked the waitress what she used and was told it Torani. I immediately went out and bought a bottle for home. A previous reviewer mentioned that the stand alone taste was not very desirable, and I agree that you need to mix it into the soda.
I have also tried some in lemonade and was very impressed, it was a nice compliment to the sourness of the lemons. Best of all that the syrup is made with natural sugar and not fructose which is something I am trying to give up.

My Sister got me hooked on soda made with Torani syrup. On my Birthday she served me a soda which consisted of Strawberry Torani syrup and Sparkling Mineral Water. I normally don't like the taste of sparkling mineral water but with this Torani syrup added it didn't even taste like Mineral water. It tasted like a Strawberry soda and when I read the ingredients of the Torani syrup I was happy to find it doesn't include High Fructose Corn Syrup but natural cane sugar. It's still a sugar but this syrup is so concentrated that a little goes a long way. My Sister then tried adding it to a lemonade to make Strawberry Lemonade which was equally delicious as the Strawberry Soda mix. I wanted to try different flavors so when she told me where I can buy them and so far I've tried the Cherry and Green Apple. I just LOVE this stuff !! I wanna try ALL the flavors !! I use a shot glass to measure out the 1 oz. syrup they suggest you use and I've added it to plain iced water and of course to Mineral water like my Sister served me on my Birthday. I just love the fruity taste and even more love that each 1 oz. shot is only 70 calories so it's a tad of a healthier option than sodas with High Fructose Corn Syrup. My favorite way to enjoy the Torani syrup is to add it to 0 calorie Sparkling Mineral water but just regular water works great too. Sure beats using products like Mio or powdered drink mix and alot cheaper. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who's looking for a healthier drink additive or to give anything a boost from Cottage cheese to mixing it into pancake batter.

Torani Strawberry makes a fantastic "red pop" when mixed with seltzer. It's not quite as aggressive as Crush Strawberry Soda, 12 oz Can (Pack of 24 Cans). This syrup has a milder more retro flavor to it. It's nice and strong, so a small amount goes a long way. This is also a good crushed ice flavor, but I wouldn't use it on ice cream. (It's not the right kind of strawberry flavor for that.)
