I recently purchased two of these frames and received them in a timely fashion, which was all fine and dandy... until I opened the Amazon box, took off the bubble wrap - then the frame fell apart. All 4 sides were 'glued' or attached very cheaply, which is probably why it fell apart. I began to think, 'maybe this one was defective, it happens sometimes...' until I opened the second frame, which was also cracked and detachable at the corners of course making the frame to be utterly useless.

I will never buy from this seller again, obviously the products do not get checked thoroughly before being sent out. If they would have been, BOTH frames wouldn't have been broken or cracked. So BUYER BEWARE.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this item and this seller. I ordered two of these frames, and I received two completely different styles and sizes of frame. And even worse, the frame that was the correct item was broken at the corner, the same way it was for other customers. Amazon should discontinue sales of this item, and re-evaluate its relationship with the seller.

The description says "laminated wood", but it's not wood. Maybe it's a super light composite wood, maybe. It looks more like a combination of Styrofoam and chalk. I was able to see it because I ordered two of these and both came cracked and damaged. The glass was fine, but the frame was in pieces, like broken chalk.

I contacted the seller, Shoplet, and they were prompt to respond and replace my order. While it isn't made from what it says it's made from, it does look good. It's lightweight, making it very easy to hang.

This is a good, basic frame for the price. Respectfully, I would not expect this to be suitable for a diploma, however I have a standard 8 1/2 x 11 thin certificate. The mat fit perfectly, and looks great in the frame. It looks good among my custom framed certificates. A $15 bargain. Just ordered another.....

The glass was shattered when received, so it was returned immediately. Highly disappointed in the lack of care when handling a FRAGILE product.

Because of the outrageous prices advertised by college universities for frames for their degrees, to save a little money, I purchased this frame intending it for my daughter to frame her bachelor's degree. I mistakenly thought it might fit as it is advertised as a document & certificate frame and was of the right dimensions, but it definitely does NOT fit either of my children's university bachelor nor graduate degrees because they are ever so slightly off sized from the norm, leaving a small, but noticeable gap between the paper and the mat along two edges...

Since then, I discovered that the degrees are deliberately cut to sizes that are just enough "off standard" that the regular frame/mat market does not carry standard products that fit them, meaning that either you purchase a frame from your university at grossly inflated prices, or you have it custom framed at a custom frame store... (which also costs plenty)... So, don't buy THIS frame if it is for that purpose ...

However, as a document or certificate frame for any OTHER type of framing, it appears to be decent enough and fits PERFECTLY to the "standard" sizes available...

Quality wise, it is a bit better than one of Walmart's best frames, (for about the same money) but not quite as nice as a "Michaels" or other big box craft store's best frames... (that also cost more)... So, take it from there... It's worthy enough to be hung on the wall of the average home or office to frame a document... but, it's not OUTSTANDING... thus, the four stars...

The product arrived promptly and in good shape. However, the entire frame is 11 x 14, not the area depicted as the certificate/diploma. If your document is 11x14 it'll go all the out tot he wooden frame and won't have the pretty matt.
