Funny But No Cigar, February 6, 2009
The ultra-cheap production values of Seduction Cinema's early comedies such as Gladiator Eroticus, Mistress Frankenstein and Erotic Witch Project Collector's Edition DVD are reflected in this spoof of `Iron Man'. The low-brow comedy is there and writer/director John Bacchus's liking for zany-looking incidental characters is also prevalent. There's even a cameo from grindhouse expert, 42nd Street Pete, in one of the crowd scenes. Unfortunately, some of Seduction's more recent comedies such as Kinky Kong and Cloak and Shag Her', and now `Ironbabe', have all lacked the vital ingredients that those early comedies could boast: girl-girl only sex scenes that, although strictly softcore, at least tried to look as though something other than mere screen decoration might be taking place. Group scenes were also regularly included in the earlier films. In `Ironbabe', these ingredients are lacking.
Jackie Stevens takes the lead role of Horny Fark, purveyor of sex toys and owner of Fark Industries. Kidnapped by a band of ruthless politically correct terrorists, Horny is ordered to manufacture an atomic sex doll. The film nicely sends up `Iron Man' with a succession of cheap laughs, but it falls flat with its less than spicy erotic content. Jackie dons a number of sexy outfits throughout the movie and there are plenty of topless views as well as some striking glimpses of her delightful derriere. However, Horny's intimate interactions with reporter, Chesty Everhard (Sativa Verte), fellow captive, Titsen (Kerri Taylor), and her inept business partner, OBGYN Stain (Darian Caine), are pretty dire. To make things worse, there are a couple of so-called sex scenes with a man. This isn't the first time that Seduction has dallied with men in their sex scenes, but this studio's comedies work much better when these scenes are exclusively female.
With hardcore easily available, there are some who question the role that softcore has in supposedly erotic films such as `Ironbabe'. In my opinion, there is certainly a place for softcore material in films like this, but it needs to have at least a hint of realism. I cannot see the reasoning behind attempting to show heterosexual sex given the restrictions that the filmmakers on this movie seem to have imposed on themselves. And as far as the lesbian sex scenes are concerned, Seduction seem to be almost apologetic about having to include them at all. They look more like stuttered attempts at dance routines as the actresses run their hands over each other but do not indulge in any other intimate contact, or even bother to appear to be doing so.
If you're hoping for something as good as Spiderbabe, I think you'll be slightly disappointed. The enhanced production values on that movie compensated for the weaker sex scenes, whereas the bargain-basement values on `Ironbabe' should, in my view, have been counteracted by better and more imaginative sex scenes such as those in `Naughty Novelist' (NAUGHTY NOVELIST / (EXCO) - NAUGHTY NOVELIST / (EXCO)) - a movie played as a straight-ahead sex film, but with a comedy slant.
The bonus material on `Ironbabe' is a little thin. There's an interview with Jackie Stevens and Alexia Moore which acts as a prelude to the short movie `Hot Property' in which they both feature. The interview segment is 17 minutes long and `Hot Property' is 16 minutes. However, both these items have already been issued on the Lust in Space DVD. A couple of very short, very dull scenes with Jackie Stevens and Sabrina Faire are also included in the bonus material, as are the usual array of trailers that Seduction tend to include. There's no behind-the-scenes featurette either - another thing that Seduction seem to have stopped doing of late.

IRONBABE TRUMPS IRONMAN, November 20, 2008
Jackie Stevens as Ironbabe is hot. This is the first movie I have seen with Jackie Stevens as an actress; and I was highly impressed with her down to earth approach to acting; If you are looking for a strong plot similarity to Ironman; Ironbabe's plot is weaker than I would of preferred; There is alot of Nude Hot babes in this movie, but one criticism is only once or twice did the girls take their panties off and this movie hardly ever showed any shots of pubic hair or pussy shots... which would of made it more erotic. Their was one very erotic lesbian scene with Darian Caine and Jackie Stevens where both ladies are totally but naked and you see good shots of their pubic hair and pussy, and once or twice you can see Jackie Stevens pussy crack which is so hot:; When Horny Fark got captured by terorist Abu Bu,,, and asked to make a nuclear sex doll, it was pathetically laughable, she made a cardboard box outfit she put on, lol, talk about low budget special effects, . The producer could of been more original than this,, but it was funny..,.I kept waiting to see Ironbabe,,, and when she made her appearance in the movie; it was Sexy, Hot, funny, and made me laugh, ,,, She had an inflatable sex doll strapped to her back , obviously filled with Helium so she could fly, and she shot Abu Bu and his planes and tank with her laser bra and laser panties, which was hot,,, Earlier while constructing her Ironbabe outfit, she uses her laser panties and melts butter to test the laser,, IRONBABE MELTS MY BUTTER,,IF YOU GET MY DRIFT...
The Special features : makes buying this DVD even more worthwhile, something in it for everyone, I especially liked the interview with Jackie Stevens; In the movie we see her bare her physical assets; but during this inverview we learn who Jackie Stevens really is, and she bares her mind on what she looks for in finding a man..Jackie thanks for baring your soul to your fans..
Then the special feature shorts, especially the one where she is a real estate agent , is hotter , more erotic than the actual movie. I told you the special features make buying this DVD even more worthwhile .. enjoy...
Oh,, and Darian Caine is hilarious in this movie.... I love these movie parodies... Even though the plot is weaker than I would of liked, because I kept finding myself trying to match plots with Ironman, I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie.. , The producer should of had Ironbabe in more action; for me the balance between the action of Ironbabe and the nude sex scenes was off balance. But what do you expect from a movie parody? You will see both Lesbian and heterosexual scenes in this movie,,, but the sex scenes although hot, lacked the fullest eroticism I was looking for, because the ladies for 99% of the movie kept their panties on,, but I think they did this because, of the fact that this being a Parody of Ironman, some children, or teens may somehow end up watching this movie,, and perhaps the producers were trying to safegaurd minor children or teens from being exposed to total frontal female nudity to the extent of showing shots of pubic hair and vaginas. If this was the producers intent, I understand, but I was disappointed myself from an mature adult perspective. BUT THIS IS NOT A MOVIE FOR CHILDREN OR TEENS UNDER 18. It is unrated. Adult theme throughout the dvd and special features. Conscientious parents should not be allowing their children to watch this movie anyway...Since this movie has pervasive female nudity and male nudity throughout the movie. One nice feature is how the producer balanced Lesbian sex with heterosexual scenes; for all to many movies of this type have predominantly Lesbian sex scenes. Don't get me wrong I love to see beautiful women together;but this movie offers a balance between Lesbian and Heterosexual couples. ;Something for everyone's discriminating taste in Erotic movies...
Also for the most part the Lesbian scenes was just fondling , kissing and rubbing of breasts,, but since they kept their panties on for the most part, I guess that had to be limited...
But overall, I loved this movie and Highly recommend this movie to all fans of Darian Caine, and Jackie Stevens... I still am giving this movie a 5 Star rating for overall creativity, hot babes, laughs .. If you are a collector of movie parodies, this one belongs right beside Ironman...on your shelf....
The reason I entitled my review: IRONBABE TRUMPS IRONMAN; is because Ironman lacked hot erotic nude babes,,, need I say more,, ,Guys and Gals you are in for the ride of a lifetime when you buy and watch this DVD Parody of Ironman,, IRONBABE...

While Darian Caine is not the sharpest pencil in the box, she has a body I would give an arm or leg to have.
