I bought this (along with the conditioner) after seeing it so highly recommended on Amazon and I am stunned at how terrible it is. I've been using it for about a week now and the buildup in my hair is completely unmanageable. I usually have very easy to care for hair and I've always used sulfate free products, but since I've started using this conditioner my hair has become greasy and clumpy like it has tons of gel in it. The only styling product that I use is a heat protectant, so I have no idea where all the gunk is coming from. Also, it smells nothing like coconut or hibiscus. I probably should have been tipped off by the incorrect product description posted by the manufacturer, but I highly recommend you avoid this product if at all possible.

After years of using the best salon brands, I finally got sick of dosing myself with synthetic chemicals just to wash my hair. I eat organic food. I wear some organic clothes. I buy organic cotten sheets. Why not switch to an organic shampoo?

Well, switching to organic shampoo was not as easy as it seemed. I went to the local co-op and bought an bottle, but it was horrible compared to the high-end salon brands that I was accustomed to. I tried another brand of organic shampoo and was equally unhappy. After talking to lots of people and stores, I had no better solution. So I decided to test them all: I bought a bottle of EVERY organic shampoo that I could find for sale in March of 2006. And I tried them all. The results of my test were striking: Only ONE shampoo was comparable to the high-end salon brand shampoos that I was accustomed to - the "EO Gentle & Nourishing SHampoo - Chamomile & Honey."

I've been using it for over a year now, and I'm still really pleased. I've also recommended it to several friends, who also love it. And I recommended it to my local co-op, who now carries it - it's a best seller there.

I highly recommend this shampoo.

this stuff is fantastic, and let me start off by saying I'm a man. I bought some EO lavender bubble bath for a sexy date night for my gf at the time (fiance now). So relaxing! Close the door, dim the light, pop a bottle of bubbly and let the magic unfold. Fast forward about a year or 2. I was shopping at Marshals home store and I saw a 32 oz bottle for around 14-17 bucks. I bought both the lavender and mint/rosemary version of the product. Both were great. Only problem is my fiance kept using, ie stealing the lavender :)
Low and behold I was out before I knew it. I swear I search Marshals for the next 2 months and no avail. I missed my shampoo. Now let me state right here and now, I was that guy who just bought whatever was on sale at the grocery....but this stuff, its great. Hair felt amazing, and my significant other loved the way it smelled, it was a win win. I searched the internet far and wide or another deal, but nothing. I mean I found it, but it was an arm and a leg. So I finally gave in and bought this 3 bottle deal with amazon and saved another 15% by signing up for their subscription service. Bottom line, buy this stuff, your hair will thank you and your significant other will love the smell, assuming she likes the lavender scent. The mint and rosemary was great too, and I would have bought that again but it was a bit pricier so I just went with this. Buy it, treat yourself.
Oh and on a side note, I have a ever so slowly receding hairline, and I'm not making scientific claims here but I felt like this might have slowed the process. Noticed lots less hair in my hands after lathering in there. Again, maybe this is all in my head, but I'm sold on it.

I really love what this shampoo does for my hair, but man alive is it STINKY. the smell is quite medicinal, but the matching conditioner totally erases the effect. I tried other conditioners with it, but still had a light amount of the smell left over. I still rate it 5 stars because it cured my scalp condition with its healing keratin and essential oils. I am VERY impressed with the combo, but I don't suggest buying just the shampoo.

The EO line is shampoos is absolutely the best on the market as far as I am concerned. Its the only shampoo that I ever used that makes my hair AND scalp feel clean, fresh- and does not leave my head feeling itchy.

I used this brand unintentionally when I was traveling to visit a friend, Forgetting my own Selsun Blue (I used for dandruff control), my friend gave me this to try and was amazed! No itching. No scratching. No flakes the entire week I used it! It was great.

Its a little pricier than other brands but its worth every penny. I've used the EO body wash, too, and its OK. But the shampoo rocks!

I have been using this brand for about a year now with the rosemary and mint being my favorite. I told my barber about it- who remarked how my scalp did not look like I had dandruff anymore- and he has since been trying it himself.

You won't go wrong with this product at all!
