I have bought truffle oil in the past, and had this brand which is much more expensive in my local store. I love that this is 2 bottles which I use the oil about twice a week, and you really only need a few drops, so this should last me through the year, if you use it less, this will last a while, and will stay if kept sealed. This is a wonderful deal on a wonderful product. DO not let the smell get you, it is to die for once it hits your taste buds. If you have thought about it I would suggest that you find a local place where they offer tastings and try it because it is a tad much money to buy it and not like it. this compares to the $20+ an ounce oils and even beats some in taste and value!!

Fantastic taste. You only need a very small amount to get the FULL truffle flavor. That is great since it is pretty expensive.If you are looking at truffle oils and see some that are less expensive, pick this one. You will be disappointed otherwise. This one has real truffle shavings in the boot

My first experience with truffle oil has been a pleasure. Very pleased with this product. A "finishing" oil, not a "cooking" oil, just a few drops sprinkled over, or stirred into prepared foods just before serving, adds a whole new level of taste. Have enjoyed trying it sprinkled on eggs, fish, NY Strip steak, potatoes, tossed into hot pasta, tossed salad, hot vegetables. Outstanding on mashed potatoes.

I have two 3.4-ounce bottles and before opening a bottle, telephoned Roland Products to confirm that the small shaving or two that I could see floating in the bottom of each bottle was, as I suspected, actual black truffle shavings. That impressed me. The ingredients on the labels are: extra-virgin olive oil; black truffle (tuber aestvum vin); black truffle aroma. Product of Italy.

It's expensive, obviously, but if you're looking for black truffle oil, this stuff is fantastically good. It's cheaper than I was able to find locally, and had a lot more truffle flavor than the last truffle oil I had purchased (locally from the place that has two dollar bottles of wine). You don't need a lot of it!

At this price, do make sure you can't get it local to yourself for less. But don't hesitate for quality issues. Drip it gently over scallops and you'll be a believer!

This is very tasty. I've used white truffle oil before and I think this has a much stronger flavor. If you're looking for a truffle kick to a dish without spending a lot of money, this is a great deal.

I had a bottle that I purchased many years ago that was really wonderful - great scent and taste. The recent bottle has okay scent but none of the lingering truffle taste of the previous bottle. Additionally, there is some sort of hint of a metallic or chemical taste. I think I'm going to try the truffle salt.

I think I'm supposed to imagine the truffle flavor, because it just doesn't exist in this bottle. The price seemed a bit too good to be true. I love "decorating" my popcorn with a bit of truffle oil, but this would just make it taste like non EV olive oile. Meh. I will not purchas again.

I will not recommend this product. Initially there was some flavor, but after a month it tastes like a chemical. I will recommend the truffle salt here on Amazon and Urbani white truffle oil. The latter lasted almost one year after opening. Granted the flavor wasn't that strong as in the beginning, but at least tasted much better than this product after only one month.
