This product is great for relieving moderate anxiety and nervous tension. Most people experience moderate sleeplessness due to these reasons. Calms Forte helped me sleep right away thanks to its relaxing effect. This product is different to the other sleep aids because most of them work as sedatives whereas this one deals away with stress. I think it is great to take it even when you feel you can sleep because it gives you quality sleep that you would not get otherwise. I love the feeling of going to bed calm and relaxed and waking up fresh and focused.

I noticed the reviewers that gave this item a 1 star review. They all wrote that they had severe insomnia or took Ambien, and that Calms Forte did not help them. A reviewer even said that he or she had chronic insomnia (sleeplessness lasting more than a month) and that the tablets did not help. I know how painful these conditions can be. My mom has severe insomnia due to fibromyalgia . I know that homeopatic or natural treatment is ineffective in these situations. Sleeplessness caused due to chronic pain, severe anxiety disorder, severe sleep cycle disturbance or ambien addiction is not going to go away with natural remedies. Please go see a doctor and get professional help. There are no products in Amazon that will help you.

This sleep aid is great for the avarage guy who needs to take the edge off before going to bed. It gives you good quality sleep and no side effects. It also helps with stress and is natural. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing product. I have an extremely stressful job and a co-worker recommended Calms to me. I do not take it as a sleep aid, but I have found Calms Forte to be a great help to remove that anxious, stressed-out, overwhelmed feeling and make it possible to just stay focused and get the job done without freaking out about it. I have noticed no side effects or wierd feelings, only that I feel more centered and have more of a sense of order and even a sense of humor about things, even in the midst of relative pandamonium. Its effect is subtle but extremely effective. Highly recommended!

I've used Xanax, buspar and valium. NOTHING works like Calms for me. I am a pretty high strung person with a long history of anxiety and panic attacks. SERIOUS PANICS. I no longer use any Rx for my panics. I take Calms and only Calms. Every single morning I take two, no matter what. If I need more during the day I take them, if not, I don't. I no longer have attacks. I have pre-attacks as I call them very, very seldom. When I feel that teeter totter feeling that I could have a panic attack I take two with a glass of seltzer water and bam in 10-15 minutes I am back in total control. Carbonated water is excellent for panics....it appears that it's the carbonation that gets right into your system and adds some needed Oxygen and man does it sooth you right out. Sometimes I don't even take the Calms. just the seltzer water.. But Calms for me is a miracle, that I will NEVER EVER be out of. Walmart gets you 50 tablets for 4 bucks. I get 3 bottles of 100 for under 20 dollars...throw another 5 bucks of something or the other in the order and its free shipping!!

I've been using Calms Forte intermittently for chronic insomnia since 1992 and it works for me in helping sleep on those nights that I can't. I hadn't been able to find it in the last few years or so in the store and did without, unsucessfully. I've tried valerian root, which works for awhile, sometimes. Melatonin works, but has the side effect of shutting off my natural melatonin stores if I use it too long. Sleeping pills were always a last resort, and I don't like the side effects. Warm milk works sometimes. Alcohol robs you of the deep sleep and has its side effects.
Fortunately, I found Calms Forte here at Amazon. Thank you Amazon! I was hoping that it was the same product and that it would still work for me, and fortunately, it is. I take three tablets an hour before bedtime and when I got to sleep, I sleep. I have no residual side effects the next day.
For me, this is an excellent product. i have recommended it to others over the years. Most had success with it. Unfortunately, a few said it didn't work. As with anything, our body chemical makeups vary. For me, I couldn't live, or sleep without it. I highly recommend it to anyone out there that is nervous, or can't sleep. It is certainly cost effective enough to give it a try. You certainly have nothing to lose.

My 14 year old Jack Russell terrier has begun displaying symptons of canine dementia, the worst of which is pacing and anxiety. I've been a fan of Hyland's Calm Forte for many years and I thought I'd try it for the dog's anxiety. I've been using it now for about a week, and am very happy with the results. We did rule out other causes of the pacing, and the vet was willing to go along with me trying a natural remedy. The dog is much more comfortable in his environment and we are relieved that he's doing well.

I've tried all kinds of herbal remedies to help me relax/sleep and this is the only one that works for me without causing me to become dependant on it. I take two or three before bed when I'm not feeling like I can sleep and desolve them in my mouth so they work quickly. I fall asleep within a few minutes and stay asleep all night. I wake up clear-headed in the morning, as well. I also take one before doing to the doctor as that tends to stress me out a little bit and it helps me calm down very much.
