I'm Mexican and I cook with guajillo peppers really often, I live in Alaska, and in my local stores I could only find 2.5 Oz bags of these peppers, so, I was constantly buying these little bags, which by the way are $2.50 ea. So, I decided I was going to look online for a better deal, and I found it here with Don Enrique Guajillo Dried Chiles, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4) I like these peppers, they are not as dry as the ones I can buy in the stores here, and when cooked they have a really nice deep red color. The package arrived on time, well wrapped and in excellent condition. I'm very pleased with my purchase, I'm keeping this product on my wish list, so I can reorder it as soon as I need it.

A very mild, sweet & smokey pepper.
Makes a very good & mild enchilada sauce with a bit of a smokey flavor.
Just grind up the dried peppers with onion, garlic & water.
Then simmer for 30 min.
If you want a bit more heat grind up and add a Chipotle.
Also put this pepper in a coffie grinder and make it into a powder and use it as you would black pepper.
