The rug is darker in person then it appears online. It also sheds a lot. Regardless of these two issues I am happy with the purchase. The rug is think and appears to be made well. The more I vacuum the rug the less it seems to be shedding. We will see in a year how it really holds up in a toddler's room, but right out of the gate I would recommend it to a friend.

The pile is thick and luxurious. I really love this carpet. The one problem I have is my cat. He puts his claws into the carpet and loosens the pile. If you have a cat I wouldn't recommend this but otherwise a 10.

I wanted to love this rug so badly. The color was the perfect shade of muted gold to complement our bedding. We laid it down and couldn't have been more excited. Then, the shedding started. If I vacuum the edges it really damages the edges. It's been a month. In this month, I've learned to use the vacuum attachments to go around the rug and only use the vacuum on the textured area. I'm hopeful the shedding will stop, because I really like the look of the rug.
