I'm new to the CritterTrail world and didn't realize that these were simply "ends" to a tube route. I thought they were much bigger and that the critter would be able to burrow in there. My error, not the product. They are perfect when used for their intended purpose.

I had a scare moment for a second with these, but they ended up working great. I wanted to convert my old Crittertrail One Level Habitat that I used for a hamster a few years back into a holding area for my new rat when I cleaned his cage. He had gotten stuck in the tunnel once before though, so I wanted to plug it up. These bubble plugs come with a plastic ring around them, which did not allow them to snap into the cage (I think they are for connecting to other tubes?), but with some muscle and a tool, I was able to pop off the ring and they fit in great.
