Product is of good quality material. scratches easily upon taking it out of the packaging.

For a "large" size it was much smaller than expected. The dimesions are approx. 6.5"L x 3"W x 6"H. Maybe best labeled at medium.

My major drawback on this product is the part that hangs on the edge of your tank. This is too narrow for my tank and cannot fit over the lip to sit in the edge. Its only 1" wide so measure the width of your tanks lip before ordering.

I purchased this to help introduce new fish into my tanks. The first one arrived with a crack and the company I purchased it through sent out a new one the next day. It hangs on the edge of the tank perfectly. The pour spouts work as you would expect them to. It has a nice capacity so it holds a great deal of water as well as multiple fish if you prefer. This could also be repurposed as a temporary issolation tank if need be. I still use this product often and would recommend it to anyone in the market.

Indispensable for any serious aquarist. The spout feature is nice, but having a specimen tank for transport, recovery of injured or sick fish is essential. I have two, the second I've drilled a bunch of holes into it and don't have to aerate the water for a prolonged isolation period. I use the sealed one for medication applications, be careful to accurately reduce your dosage quantities for the reduced volume or water..

Don't know how I got along with out it. Great product well made and sturdy will last a lifetime I'm sure. Most handy tool in my entire fish tool box. Used when transferring fish when getting new fish accustomed to my tanks parameters. I use this thing constantly for so many different reasons don't ever want to be without one.

I love this product! It's a little big for my 20 gallon tank, but I use it every time I do a water change or as a holding pen for my fish to be transported. I have a HOB filter that needs to be filled with water before turning it on, so this is a great use for it. I can easily scoop up some tank water and pour just the right amount to get it started. I've also used it as an observation container, as it can hang on the side so that you can see how your new fish will react to the current occupant in the tank. Is this a necessary item? -No, but it's very nice to have.

I finally broke down and bought this and another smaller container to drip acclimate and do coral dips in. It works great hanging on the side of the tank to allow for a shorter drip line for acclimating via drip line. It also accomodates small and medium sized coral dips. I was using a 1 gallon bucket which required more dip product and was also looking like it was wearing out since it was not made for this. I am glad I spent the money to get this container as it is more convenient to use and works well. Its much more sturdy too.
