This product sits on my kitchen countertop and takes up no space at all. The sound that comes out of it is superb. We recently remodeled our basement and considered a stereo system, however, this docking station will do just fine! And the remote is great!

It's cute, compact, lightweight (easily transportable). Not the deep rich sound I hoped for, but I'm pleased enough. The fact that it charges the player while it plays is a definate plus, oh as well as the cute little remote control. I did not go down the iPod route but bought a Sony MP3 player -this unit is built for my player and it works great. I now own 2 of these one in my bed room and one at my desk at work. The sound is very good and I love the remote control unit. Very easy to set up and use. The down side is that the form factor keeps it from very high quality audio fidelity. Its has very good sound for its size! Its 4.5 stars.

The docking speaker had enough weight to make you think it could provide quality sound but it simply didn't. It is absolutely too much money for such poor quality sound.
