As someone who suffers with acid reflux and a hiatal hernia, DGL is part of my daily regiment. I don't use the proton pump inhibitors so it's essential that I take care of my gut naturally. I love that Enzymatic has this in a sugar and fructose free product - it tastes great and I don't have to worry about added sugar. It also works to coat my stomach and prevent reflux. In addition to this product, I use Enzymatic's "Digest Gold." Both are effective in keeping my reflux from interfering with enjoying my food!. Highly recommend.

I have tried a number of things of cure the GERD type symptoms, I am leary of the prilosic etc, meds. Very quickly this seemed to help a lot, I tried the Now brand(my favorite for most things) but they were so cloyingly sweet. I have recommended these to family and friends. I am 67 and tend to have high blood pressure, these may have raised it some although I am not sure. Try it and see. ron

I started taking this after reading good results by people who suffer from acid reflux. After being on Prilosec for 2 years, I wanted to try to take a natural, safe supplement instead of staying on Prilosec to help with my acid reflux. I chew one of these tablets 20 minutes before lunch and another tablet 20 minutes before eating dinner. This coats your throat and does help prevent getting acid reflux. I no longer take Prilosec and my doctor said since it is deglycyrrizinated licorice, it will not affect blood pressure in a negative way. This is a great safe product to take. The 10:1 ratio is the best because you only need 1 tablet as opposed to 2 before each meal. I recommend this!

I got DGL for my mom along with Monolaurin and Berberine because of her acid reflux. I felt it was due to H Pylori which is same bacteria that gives you ulcers it usually takes a couple of months to get rid of it and I really feel you get it in the water supply, about a month into it she was not having anymore problems so I cut her down to just the DGL for 1 more month and then I will just keep her on a digestive enzyme for preventive maintenance purposes.

I was having a lot of stomach problems after the illness and subsequent death of a beloved pet, and a relative recommended DGL to me. This really did work to soothe and calm my stomach. The taste isn't great, but you actually get used to it over time and I grew almost fond of it. If you like anise and licorice treats, you can tolerate it. I also recommended this to others I knew were having stress, and they also had great results. Don't suffer in silence, give this a try if you are having temporary stomach pain brought on by stress.

I am so happy with the Enzymatic DGL tablets that I am telling everyone about them. I have suffered from GERD, acid reflux or heartburn, whichever name you want to call it for a number of years. I have been taking medication for it but it didn't work well for me so I had surgery to restore the action of my esophagus valve. However, the surgery only worked for a few months when I sneezed the stitches out and was back to square one. A woman at the nail salon told me about DGL and I ordered it immediately. I have not had acid reflux since I started using it about two months ago! This stuff is amazing!!! Everyone should know about it and use it if you need it. It has no side effects for me and I am so happy I found it. It has literally changed my life!
