If you have never used stevia before, this size is a good place to start. It is also conveniently placed in a purse-size container so you can take it with you everywhere.

Some people claim that stevia is 200 times sweeter than table sugar. In my experience, it is about 8 times as sweet. That means that a small sprinkle of this stevia should serve to sweeten your coffee or tea.

I've used stevia for close to 20 years now for tea, coffee, smoothies, and on fruit salad. I also use it as an adjunct to other natural sweeteners in baking.

Some people claim that stevia has a bitter aftertaste, and some brands can have that problem, but not this one. This stevia is finely ground and exceptionally pure.

The label states, under Supplement Facts: Stevia Extract Powder (leaf) (stevia rebaudiana, min. 80% glucosylsteviosides). Other ingredients: None. Stevia Extract is hypoallergenic and contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.

I have tried the gambit of artificial sweetners including the "pink", "blue" and 'yellow" packets with each one being better than the previous one but none has come to the taste of real sugar. I did try the sweet leaf stevia with fiber, but it did leave a slight bitter after taste, so much so that I was combining a "yellow" packet with one of them. I purchased two bottles of this pure stevia extract powder and most of the bitter after taste gone. The problem with stevia products is that they don't dissolve easily in cold liquids, ergo my 4-star rating. However I will be buying more when these run out as stevia is proving to be the best sugar substitute to date and have years of research behind it. I have even noticed that my sugar levels have begun to drop since I started using stevia.

We have been using Stevia in the Raw from Walmart which cost about the same as this sugar substitute but comes in a larger package but we have to use a LOT of it to sweeten our tea. Now we will only use this Better Stevia and the small spoon server that comes with it is so cute! Who would think that small serving spoon like this one would be all you need in your coffee or tea? Received 2 with the order and they will last me for a very long time! Glad I took a chance on this item.

I use this product all the time. You use so little to cook or flavor drinks that it lasts a very long time. It is a great product just have to be careful to not use too much or it tastes bitter. Also this is one of the few powders that doesn't have any fillers in it, it's just stevia. I highly recommend it.

Well, they could not leave a good thing alone. I've always preferred the Stevia Extract by NOW, I even liked the "bitter aftertaste" that some people (who seem addicted to sugar sweetness) have complained about. So this product is not a sweet and is more granular than the old stuff. I think that NOW has tried to make it taste more like sugar (yuck!). I'd guess that it's got some filler in it. All that said, it's still better than some. I think that it's about on par with Sweet Leaf.
