    Handball gloves exactly as you would expect. These are unpadded - I've never used any padded gloves or lining for handball, and with the newer balls since the hard red ace balls grew out of popularity, there's no reason to.

    There's not much else out there for handball gloves, but I wouldn't buy anything other than Owen. The bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger is around 6", maybe a little longer and the Mediums fit well.

    If you've never played handball before, try these out first and if you really can't take the pain, or you don't build up a resistance to hitting the ball, then try some liners or padded gloves. But I've only used these regular gloves and have never had any problems.

    I used these gloves in 1994-1996 when I was playing collegiate handball. I haven't played since then and I pulled out my 7 pairs of gloves to get back into the sport. The gloves were as soft and seams as strong as the day I purchased the gloves, even after spending 14 years in a Gym bag in my garage.

    Purchased these gloves and found them to be of superior quality. I really love these gloves. The are like a second skin, they fit well. The ball hit is good and solid. With the last pair (brand name starts with an "E") they seemed to flop around after playing for a couple of hours. These stay fit on my hands.

    I ordered this handball gloves in small size. It feels very comfortable and it does it's job. My hands often bleed when I play without gloves, but with these my hands doesn't bleed anymore.

    One thing to watch out for is not to scrub the floor accidentally with these. Scrubbing it on the floor accidentally will cause damage to the gloves and make it wore out. But overall, good handball gloves for its' price.

    I've played with these gloves for around a year now, and decided to spring for 2 more pairs. I play big ball and small ball in 1-wall and 4-wall settings.

    The durability of these gloves is outstanding, and will last you a very long time. It's better than playing without gloves because that will inevitably injure your hands (cracks, or bone bruises with small ball). These gloves aren't the "padded" ones for small ball that provide shock protection on the palm, but they are sufficient for big ball play. The quality of the gloves is bar none - the feeling when opening a fresh pair of gloves is awesome! So soft and nice!

    The only con I have is with regards to the strap. Firstly, the metal part will rust after a short period of time, but as with all gloves, it will get dirty inevitably. Secondly, the velcro strap itself can provide for mean scratches when you're playing intense games. Personally, I play 4-wall a lot and I get a lot of scratches by going for tougher shots. There are other gloves with different velcro straps that aren't so exposed, but I'm just putting it out there since it does come up.
