I didn't realize, when I purchase it, that it is from China. I just don't trust products from that country anymore. I love the other supplements I ordered from this company, and this is probably fine, but I don't know why you have to go to China to get garlic powder. It isn't exactly an exotic herb.

This garlic is a powder not like any garlic I've seen. Its strong, but not bitter and blends well when cooking. I'm used to Garlic powder being more granular. This product is more like Garlic flour it is the consistency of flour. You should be aware of this in case this isn't what you're looking for.

Tastes like fresh garlic. This is a great value - Product comes in a resealable Mylar bag and should keep the power fresh for a long time with proper care.

The problem is... I spent YEARS with an Italian Deli & Catering establishment in New York working up to MANAGER. The ONLY non full-blooded Italian there! [And YES, if there is ANY left-over pizza, I would use a dab of butter with a dash of Starwest Botanical Organic Garlic Powder ...and be thrilled with my FRIED PIZZA for breakfast!] The "Starwest Botanicals Organic Garlic Powder" tastes very good, BUT (you knew that word was coming) the consistency / the texture is off. I wanted something HEAVIER, not SOFT&LIGHT like baby powder. IF ONLY YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN THE TEXTURE. I wanted MY garlic powder to FEEL like GARLIC (powder), so I would not have to switch back to THE ORIGINAL GARLIC... from outside in the garden!
