i love the fact that the chocolate is cold-pressed (instead of heat-processed) which preserves many of the highly beneficial chemicals/nutrients/antioxidants found in very dark chocolate. i understand that the cold-pressing process is probably quite expensive relative to heat-processing, and that is surely why this product is so expensive. i'm sure that if the company reduced the price they would definitely sell much more (i know i would buy more !) but at the current price i don't think i will be a return customer. however the chocolate does taste pretty good.

Chocolate intended for health benefit is difficult to come by. The uniqueness is in the process. Cold-pressed chocolate retains the beneficial properties of cocoa which heated manufacturing removes. Many physicians will roll their eyes at the idea of chocolate as a pharmaceutical agent, but lets just move on with health, as if it never happened.

This is not a "cure-all", nothing is, but this product has given many noticeable inflammatory and chronic disease relief.

Got boxes of this product from my chiropractor. I haven't eaten mine yet -- 3 a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) -- but my husband is on his second box. It lowered his cholesterol significantly enough that our regular doctor was surprised. Not saying this has medical benefits: just reporting what changed in my husband's blood panel. And it's delicious!

This product had been subjected to heat or something as the outer layer was whitish. Very disappointing. I've bought Xocai X Power Squares many times and they had always been delicious. I felt ripped off to get an old/damaged product.
